The Scriptures
The Bible is God's inspired, inerrant Word — true in all it affirms and the final authority for what we believe and how we live. All sixty-six books were written by human authors carried along by the Holy Spirit and are without error in everything they teach.
God
There is one living and true God — holy, sovereign, and the Creator and Sustainer of all things. He exists eternally as three co-equal, co-eternal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, distinct in person yet one in nature, essence, and purpose.
Humanity
Every person is created by God in His image and has full dignity and worth. But because of humanity's sin, we are all born into a world and with a human nature that are broken by rebellion against God. Each of us also makes our own choices to go our own way rather than God's. We are not simply victims of our circumstances; we are willing participants in our own sin. In truth, every person, by both nature and choice, is in need of God's saving grace.
Salvation
Salvation is entirely God's gift of grace, received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. It is not earned by human effort or merit. God's saving work includes regeneration (new birth), justification (forgiveness and right standing before God), adoption into His family, sanctification (growth in holiness), and final glorification (in heaven with Him). Every aspect of salvation flows from God's grace and is secured in Christ; there is no salvation except through Him.
The Church
The church is the people of God — a community of baptized believers who follow Jesus together. A local church gathers to worship, grow in the Word, celebrate baptism and the Lord's Supper, serve one another, and carry the gospel to the world.
Baptism and the Lord's Supper
Baptism is the immersion of a believer in water as a public declaration of faith in Christ — a picture of His death, burial, and resurrection. The Lord's Supper is a regular remembrance of Christ's atoning death, proclaiming His sacrifice until He returns. Both ordinances are for believers and belong to the local church.
Evangelism & Missions
It is the duty and privilege of every follower of Christ to share the gospel with all people everywhere. The Great Commission is not optional — every believer and every church is called to participate in making disciples of all nations through sharing the Gospel, baptizing, and teaching.
Last Things
Jesus Christ will return personally, visibly, and gloriously. God will judge all people — the dead will be raised, and each will stand before Him. Those who rejected Jesus will face eternal separation from God in Hell, but those who belong to Him will enjoy life in His presence forever in Heaven.
