A Word From Your Pastor

Thank you church for your tremendous outpouring of love toward John & Ashlynne Walton as they went through John's ordination and their commissioning service last Sunday evening! I was able to talk to John following the events and they were deeply touched by your many kindnesses, prayers and encouragements. It was good for us to see the depth and breadth of their friendships, relationships and families. Our youth and students were a special blessing for their ministry years here and the large number of ministers who made the effort to serve on both his ordination council and return for the commissioning service. The Lord bless you and them! This month is the Global Hunger offering season, and I hope you will read our long-time church member's insert regarding this topic in today's bulletin. It is a Christian concern and expectation of the Lord that we will perform throughout our lifetimes as an expression not only of our love, but also of God's love for others, and especially for those in need. A quick shout-out to those of you (of various age groups) who made the 6-week commitment to study the Old Testament book of Ruth. It was such a blessing to Andrew and I as you all were faithful, prepared and engaged in the study. I couldn't help but notice very few were interested in leaving the church each week when the study concluded. Great fellowship!

What our ministries are studying

  • Sunday MorningsSunday mornings

    August 16th “Compromise” Judg. 16:16-31. Face-to-face classes for all ages in the church building at 9:00 AM or online at 9:00 AM on our Sermons page.

  • Ladies StudyMondays

    The ladies will be studying through the book “One in a Million” by Priscilla Shirer. 9:15 AM - 11:30 AM in rooms #146/148.

  • Sunday PreviewWednesday evenings

    Steve French will give a thorough overview of the upcoming Sunday Bible study lesson. Whether you are a teacher or a Bible study attender, this is a great class for those who are looking to prepare for the lesson! Class meets at 5:00 PM in room #143.

  • Adult DiscipleshipWednesday evenings

    The Theological Education Class, taught by Pastor Andrew, is doing a New Testament Survey. The class meets from 6:00–7:00 PM in rooms #146/148.

  • Prayer MeetingWednesday evenings

    Join our Prayer Group for corporate prayer for our church, community, state, nation and world. The group meets from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM in room #147.

  • Men's Bible StudyThursday mornings

    The men are studying through the book of 1 Corinthians starting at 5:30 AM via Google Meets. Contact Larry Bollinger at larrysellsazhomes@gmail.com to get the meeting link each week.

  • Fabulous FridaysFriday morningsOn hold

    On break for the Summer, will resume on September 11th. Fabulous Fridays is the gathering of our senior adults. They meet for a potluck and a special program.
