A Word to the Church

Thank you for all your prayers for our Puerto Rico missions' team! They returned safely Friday afternoon. They worked hard all week with three other churches serving the community they were in. Half of our team helped put on a VBS for some of the local kids. The theme of the VBS was the same as the one that we put on earlier this summer. Because of that, the team was able to bring some craft and game supplies from our church! The other half of the team worked at different sites doing repairs on homes and buildings. One of the jobs consisted of removing a large, overgrown vine that was damaging the roof of a house. They were also able to prime and seal a damaged roof, despite some rain interfering. Again, thank you for your prayers and your support! If you would like to hear more about what was done through this trip, feel free to ask any of the team members for a report! Friday afternoon also saw the return of our kids and adult leaders from Kids Kamp. Our children's ministry took 18 kids and 4 adults to Prescott. According to our adult workers, all the kids had great behaviors and did a wonderful job following directions! Most importantly, they had multiple kids make first time decisions for Christ! There are also two or three kids who would like to be baptized! Thank your church for praying, and for buying so many breakfast burritos to help support our kids!

Intergenerational Study

Our study will be returning this Wednesday, July 15th. Study begins at 6:30 PM with an optional dinner at 5:30 PM.

Women's Ministry Breakfast

The next women's ministry breakfast will be Saturday, July 25th at 9:00 AM! All ladies of the church are invited for a time of fellowship, food, and Bible study! A $5 donation is suggested.

Quarterly Business Meeting

The next Quarterly Business Meeting will be Sunday, July 26th following the service.

Special Ordination and Commissioning Service

Our youth director John Walton and his wife Ashlynne will be leaving soon to serve in South Africa. We will be having a special service on August 2nd at 4:00 PM to ordain John and commission him and Ashlynne.
